*We use air freight couriers who make their best endeavours to deliver next business day, however please note next business day delivery can not be guaranteed. In some instances it is not always possible due to unforseen circumstances or events beyond our control. It is advisable to order early when your Gift Box is required by a specific date.
Deliveries are made during business hours Monday to Friday within Australia only. No deliveries occur on public holidays.
If your gift is being delivered to a ‘business’ please ensure that you enter the ‘name’ of the business to ensure the delivery process runs as smoothly as possible.
Unfortunately there are times when it is necessary to charge a ‘redelivery fee’. Although systems are put in place to ensure the occurrence of this is kept to a minimum the following situations will incur a re-delivery fee.
- When a gift has incorrect/insufficient recipient address being provided
- When a gift has a delivery address that’s unattended and no safe place to leave the gift eg. Bad Weather, Locked gate, dog, alarm
It is vital that you enter the correct information for your delivery. If details are incorrect and the gift needs to be redelivered a ‘redelivery fee’ will be incurred.
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us if an order has not arrived. We will contact the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible.
If there is no suitable place a calling card will be left and the Gift Box redirected to a nearby Post Office.

Cancellation of Orders
Once payment for an order has been accepted, cancellation is at the discretion of the management of A GIFT IN A BOX.
Returns & Exchanges
In the unfortunate event that a gift has been damaged through the delivery process, please call A GIFT IN A BOX to organise for the gift to be returned and a replacement organised.
Liquor Act
Under the liquor control Act Gift Box’s including alcohol may only be purchased by people 18yrs and over. For all gifts with alcohol included please ensure that the recipient is aged over 18 years and is available to receive delivery.
